Never to early to plan for a good cause!
ROXBURY – The 13th annual Roxbury Run For A Cure 3.0-mile road race will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, (Thanksgiving Day) starting and finishing near the Roxbury Congregational Church on Route 317.
The race, which raises money for the cancer center at New Milford Hospital and the Relay For Life, is sponsored by the church, the Roxbury Recreation Commission and the Roxbury Road Race Series.
The .7-mile children’s run will be held at 9 a.m., the walkers will start their trip along the 3.0-mile route at 9:15 a.m. and the runners will take off on that course at 9:30.
There will be a $10 entry fee that can be paid that morning at the church between 7:30 and 9:20.
The top overall male and top overall female will each receive a plaque.
Refreshments will be available.
