Fires: Three homes, garage destroyed by fire on Binney Lane in Old Greenwich.

Injuries/deaths: No deaths; minor injury to a firefighter who responded to Binney Lane fire.

People in shelters: 28 people at Western Greenwich Civic Center; 36 at Eastern Middle School

Power outages: 21,597 as of 6 p.m., or 77 percent

Property damage: Unknown.

Cleaning up: Four CL&P line crews working with town crews (town has two tree crews and three outsourced tree crews); National Guard units also in town.

Is water safe?: Aquarion Water Co. says there is no issue with town’s drinking water; flooded private wells should be considered contaminated.

Halloween: Postponed; new date to be announced later in the week.

Schools: Public schools closed through Wednesday (will update rest of week Wednesday); Brunswick School, Convent of the Sacred Heart, Eagle Hill School, Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Catholic School, Greenwich Country Day School, Stanwich School, Whitby School: Closed through Wednesday; Carmel Academy: Closed through Tuesday
