Welcome to Views from the Promenade

Hey there, Mets fans! Welcome to Views from the Promenade, where I’ll be blogging about the Mets and offering perspective on the team, the front office, and the media coverage they receive. I’m a 28-year-old Mets fan from Bethel, Connecticut who has been following the team religiously ever since I first started visiting Shea Stadium in the 1980’s.

You won’t find a lot of the same old conventional wisdom here: there are plenty of places to find that, and it’s usually dead wrong. My goal will be to make you look at the team in different ways, and consider that maybe things aren’t exactly as they seem out on the field, even if you ultimately think I’m wrong.

So take a seat (hopefully not one with an obstructed view) in the highest reaches of Citi Field, and join me as we take in the view from the promenade!
