HARTFORD – (press release) Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs will hold its annual Entrepreneurship Awards this Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 6 p.m to 9 at the Mark Twain House and Museum, 351 Farmington Avenue, Hartford.
The HYPE Entrepreneurship Awards recognizes budding and enterprising ventures run by young business people and honors those who have helped re-energize the small business climate in the Hartford Region. Come celebrate and network with both established and aspiring entrepreneurs as well as financiers, investors and supporters of local business start-ups. Two finalists in each of the three award categories will pitch their business to a panel of judges at the event. Judges will select the winners following the pitches. The award categories are:

Filomeno & Company Business Excellence Award
Goodwin College Business Launch Award
