Fresh snow freshens slopes

Those up north this week skiing and snowboarding, got some freshies this week.

The big winners from Tuesday’s storm were resorts in central Vermont including Stratton, 8″; Okemo and Bromley 6″ and a much needed 7″ at Magic Mountain. Southeastern New Hampshire areas like Granite Gorge and Crotched picked up to 10 inches.

It was good news during Presidents’ Week with crowds of skiers.
