Wait, am I voting today?

STAMFORD — Will you be visiting one of Stamford’s 20 polling stations Tuesday? This checklist will help you find the answer:

Am I registered Democrat?

If yes, then get your car keys. Stamford’s nearly 24,000 registered Democrats are eligible to vote in the mayoral primary race between Board of Finance member David Martin and William Tong. Democrats in downtown’s District 6 will also be asked to cast ballots for the Board of Representatives primary election.

If no, then ask yourself…

Am I a registered Republican from District 13 or 18?

If yes, then head to the polls. The Republicans are holding two primary elections in these districts.

Wait, what district do I live in and where do I vote?

Not sure which of Stamford’s 20 voting districts you inhabit? Click here and enter your address to find your polling place. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Why am I voting, again?

You tell me! I’m interested in hearing who’s voting in Tuesday’s primary and why. Post a comment here or shoot me an email at Kate.King@scni.com.
