A Stamford man has been arrested after threatening his former boss with a tire iron outside a Greenwich home, according to police reports. Manolo Marroquin, 26, was charged with disorderly conduct, and, having posted the $100 bail, will appear in Superior Court in Stamford on November 4.

On Monday afternoon, at 12:45 p.m., Greenwich Police were dispatched to a property under construction at 20 Carpenters Brook Road on reports of a verbal altercation between two men, one of whom was brandishing a golf club. A subsequent investigation revealed that Marroquin had been threatening the other man, who owned the property and had previously employed Marroquin, with a tire iron. The former employer had accused Marroquin of stealing items from the construction site.
