STAMFORD — U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., will pay his first visit to Mayor David Martin’s new 10th floor office at the Government Center tonight.

Murphy, who endorsed Martin during Stamford’s mayoral race, will meet with the new mayor for the first time since the November election to discuss the city’s needs from the federal government. The Senator paid a similar visit to former Republican Mayor Michael Pavia last year.

Murphy will meet with Martin at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the Government Center.
