Elmyr String Quartet to perform at St. John’s Episcopal April 6

STAMFORD—St. John’s Episcopal Church will hold a performance by the Elmyr String Quartet  at 4 p.m. April 6 at 628 Main St. The New York-based quartet will perform Haydn’s “The Seven Last Words of Christ.”  This rarely heard piece is a series of movements that meditate on the final words that Jesus spoke from the cross.
