The Stamford Planning Board will hold the last of several scheduled public workshops on the once a decade Master Plan Update.
The workshop will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, in the fourth floor cafeteria, at the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Boulevard, Stamford.
This morning the city posted a draft copy of several chapters of the Master Plan here.
Website visitors can subscribe to receive automatic updates when a public hearing has been scheduled and when additional draft documents have been posted to the site. The Master Plan is a key policy and planning document that will inform the course of planning and development in Stamford over the next ten years.
At the workshop on April 22, representatives of the city’s planning consultant, BFJ Planning will be available in an open house format to discuss with residents the draft recommendations.

“We would like to thank the public for their dedication and participation in the Master Plan, and we invite them to join us on April 22 as we move closer to developing our draft plan for the City”, added Chair Dell.
The plan is expected to be finalized sometime in mid-May, to be followed by public hearings on June 17, 2014.
