I have sympathy for drivers (assuming they are not texting or on the phone) – last week during my 2 mile commute to work not once but twice people stepped right in front of my moving car without looking. Luckily I could see it was a possibility and was going very slowly. Pedestrians need to take their eyes off their phones and their earbuds off and be aware of their surroundings just as much as drivers do.
