The disturbance occurred at about 12:15 a.m., during which several women began fighting, Hohn said. At that point a shot was heard, and a 35-year-old Stamford man was hit in the left leg. He was taken to Stamford Hospital and is expected to survive. The group of people involved in the altercation dispersed, and witnesses were unable to give a description of the shooter.
