Pencils, crayons, paper — an easy way to help Newtown kids

|

People all over the world are sending money to the community of Newtown in the wake of last week’s tragedy. But there are other ways to help, too — ways that will benefit the children who survived the shooting almost immediately, and can fit into the budget of most families in the area.

Stamford’s PT Council posted this on Facebook the other day:

We called over to Hamilton Avenue School this morning, and got a few more details. While the original post said the supplies need to make their way to the drop-off point in Greenwich by Thursday (which is this morning), the collection is now planned to run through tomorrow.

The supplies will be picked up by a truck at 3 p.m. Friday, so there’s still time to donate.
