There’s an idea for a new reality show in this, but for now, anyone interested in landing a job to teach elementary school in Stamford next year should hustle on down to 888 Washington, Blvd. on April 26 for a job fair. The district’s enrollment has been expanding and it always has a number of openings due to retirement.

BACKGROUND: Candidates must be certified or anticipate receiving certification by the State of Connecticut by August 15, 2104, in K-6 elementary education (005) or Early Childhood preK-3nd Grade (112 or 113). Dual certification in Special Education, TESOL/bilingual, or the ability to speak Spanish are priorities.
