Greenwich football gave everyone a taste of what is to come in the fall in the annual Red-White game at Cardinal Stadium Saturday morning.
David Fierro has the full story in Sunday’s Greenwich Time or on our website
Got a few highlights and postgame reaction from what was a pretty hard hitting game for a Spring affair.
The White team got on the board first when Liam O’Neil hooked up with Alex McMurray on a 25-yard touchdown pass.
O’Neil and the White team kept going to the air attack.
One interception on a nice play by Nick Pulitano.
The Red team got on the board in the fourth quarter on a catch by Ryan Marks to make it 7-6.
The Red team went for two and took the lead 8-7.
After all the hard hits the boys shook hands and tried to remember that they all played for the same team.
I spoke to Alex McMurray after the game and Dave spoke with Coach Albonizio.
