GHS Alumni hockey game

The players in the 2011 Greenwich Hockey Alumni Game.

Former Greenwich hockey players gathered at Dorothy Hamill Rink Saturday for the Alumni Hockey Game.
Participating in the game were 28 former Greenwich High School hockey players, including players from the 2011 and as far back as the class of 1966.

The players were divided into Red Cardinals and White Cardinals.

The Red Cardinals won 11-6 with Mark Loh (’09) tallying a hat trick and Ted Kreppein (’88) and Peter Fujitani (’66) tallying two goals apiece.

Goals were also scored by Shea Shepard (’06), Rory Shepard (’03), Tim Gregor (’03), and Colin Kelly (’06).

Peter Fujitani (’66) is a former GHS Varsity Hockey Coach and the most senior Cardinal to score a goal in school history.

Scoring for the White Cardinals were Alex Liebers (’11) with two goals and Kyle Shepard (’00), Craig Macken (’11), Jeremy Hellinger (’00) and Jed Simon (’01) each scoring a goal.

The other Cardinals participating in the game were David Kreppein (’91), Dane Menten-Weil (’09), Joe Stefanowicz (’83), Nick Stroumbakis (’09), Jake Isbrandtsen (’02), Joe Benoit (’02), Max Comeau (’09), Joey Lodato (’10), Andrew Sparico (’00), Mike Sparico (’01), Jonny Darula (’10), Marc De Luca (’11), Louis Pulitano (’11), Ryan Kelly (’10), Wyot Woods (’04) and Walker Brady (’11).

The event is a long standing tradition sponsored by the Greenwich High School Boys Ice Hockey Booster Club and is organized by Kevin Keaveney (‘86) who also officiated the game.
