Mark Teixeira of the New York Yankees visits a child at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital
Earlier today, Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira visited with patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Teixeira spent the day answering questions from some of the hospital’s outpatients, meeting each of the children and giving them all a Yankees DKNY teddy bear and a signed baseball.
He then visited the hospital rooms of more than a dozen additional patients.
