There were a lot of standout performances in what was a very busy sports day. Here’s a look at Monday’s star performers
Marisa Noto, Greenwich Academy lacrosse: Noto recorded three goals and two assists in the Gators’ 15-9 win over Greens Farms Academy.
Danny Guise, Greenwich boys golf: Guise shot a 1-under-par 35 for Greenwich, which outshot Danbury, 150-176.
Daniel Weld, Brunswick golf: Weld carded a 1-over-par 37 in the Bruins’ 203-239 win over South Kent. The Bruins improved to 14-0 with the victory.
Christie Huchro, Sacred Heart golf: Huchro won her match at the No. 1 spot, 5 and 3 for the Tigers, who got their first win of the season, defeating Holy Child.
Camilla Vik, Greenwich Academy golf: Vik was a 4 and 3 winner at the top spot for the Gators, who downed Holy Child. The Gators raised their record to 7-0.
Kylie Ginsberg, Isabella Narvaez Greenwich High girls track and field: Ginsberg, a freshman, won the high jump with a distance of 4’10, while Narvaez, also a freshman, placed first in the 400-meter run (:65.5).
