The Greenwich High School boys tennis team remained undefeated, beating arch rival Staples, while the Cardinals boys golf team and the Brunswick golf team continued their winning ways. Here’s Tuesday’s stars.
Greenwich High boys tennis team: Getting wins from singles players, Tyler Kratky, Zach Niklaus, Blake Niehaus, Tatsuya Tasaki and Ari Cepelewicz, the Cardinals beat Staples, 5-2.
Alex Moeser, Greenwich High boys lacrosse: Moeser recorded a hat trick with two assists to help lead the Cardinals to a 9-7 win over Staples.
Andre Masse, Daniel Weld, Brunswick golf: Masse shot a 33, while Weld carded a 35 as the Bruins outshot Hopkins, 182-205.
Danny Guise, Chris Pavelic, Greenwich golf: Guise shot a 34 and Pavelic posted a 35 for 11-0 Greenwich in its 144-164 win over Trinity Catholic.
Maggie Annecchino, Jen Schwabe, Taylor Ryan, Convent of the Sacred Heart lacrosse: The trio each recorded a hat trick for the Tigers in their tough, 15-14 loss to Greens Farms Academy.
