The Greenwich Academy softball team clinched its second straight FAA regular season championship, while Greenwich High remained undefeated in boys and girls tennis and boys and girls golf. Here’s today’s stars.

Hannah Staab, Greenwich Academy softball: The junior left-hander struck out five in a complete-game three-hitter for the Gators, who routed St. Luke’s, 21-0. GA clinched the FAA regular season title with the win.

Stephen Pastore, Greenwich High School golf: Pastore shot a 37 for the Cardinals, who outshot Fairfield Warde, 156-172.

Brooke Nethercott, Greenwich High School girls golf: Nethercott carded a 40 as Greenwich beat Danbury, 187-213 and downed Staples, 187-192.

Zach Niklaus, Greenwich High boys tennis: Niklaus played at first singles for the Cardinals and recorded a 6-1, 6-0 win in the team’s 7-0 triumph against Trumbull.

Claudia Kesala, Greenwich girl tennis: The sophomore didn’t drop a game in sweeping her opponent at first singles for GHS, which topped Trumbull, 6-1.
