Sacred Heart bows out

|

The run for the Sacred Heart basketball team ended Friday night in Rye as the Tigers fell to RCDS in the FAA semifinals a year after winning the tournament.

Poor shooting from outside and a lack of cohesion seemed to doom the Tigers on this night and Coach Sean Green said that had been the case all season as his squad never seemed in step with each other.

CSH brings back most of the team, only losing two seniors and could have some talent coming in from outside that will help them reload to make a run at the title again next season.

Emily O’Sullivan played well in the post for Sacred Heart but it was not enough on this night.
