Greenwich graduate Kyle Feeney traded to Boston Cannons

Kyle Feeney, a standout goalie on the Greenwich High School and Bucknell University lacrosse teams, was traded by the Charlotte Hounds on Tuesday – the team that drafted him in the eighth round of the Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft six months ago.

Feeney was traded to the Boston Cannons in a deal that also sent Hounds defenseman Ricky Pages to Boston. Charlotte will receive a 2014 second round supplemental draft pick in the trade. A 2009 Greenwich High graduate, Feeney posted a .508 save percentage and allowed only 8.42 goals per game this spring for Bucknell, which went 12-4 and advanced to the championship game of the Patriot League Tournament.
