Greenwich did enough to qualify for the state tournament where it took on New Milford in game one.
Greenwich had a lead 4-1 in the fifth inning with strong pitching from Jack Molloy but New Milford tied it and sent it to extra innings.

Greenwich was unable to capitalize on a lead off hit by Teddy Hasapis in the seventh inning and New Milford took advantage in the bottom of the inning by scoring with a RBI single to win 6-5.

In game two, they faced Danbury, scattering hits and scoring two runs but that wasn’t enough despite strong pitching by Jack Molloy, Steven Bennett and Teddy Hasapis, some solid hits by Nick Alonzi, Luke Thibeault and Garrett Murphy and some talented fielding by Sean Pratley, Will Giangrande, Sam Nadler, Ryan Columbo and Aiden Munoz.

The Danbury line up proved strong and ended up knocking Greenwich out of the tournament, 9-2.
