Jenna Hascher earns honors on Northwestern soccer team

Northwestern University Women's Soccer against DePaulConvent of the Sacred Heart graduate Jenna Hascher hasn’t wasted any time in making her mark on the Northwestern University woman’s soccer team.

Hascher, a freshman goalie for the Wildcats, was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week and Co-Freshman of the week on Tuesday.

A 2013 Sacred Heart graduate, Hascher recorded shutouts in a scoreless tie against Western Michigan and a 2-0 victory over Oakland last week. She has not allowed a goal since Sept. 5, spanning 356 minutes.

Hascher has a goals against average of 0.48 so far this season, which ranks fifth in the Big Ten.
