Eva Rosencrans, who scored a number of clutch goals as a member of the Greenwich Academy field hockey team, did the same as a freshman at Hamilton College this fall.

Rosencrans, a forward, was recently named to the 2013 NESCAC All-Conference Team after producing an impressive freshman season. Voted to the NESCAC Second Team, Rosencrans led Hamilton with eight goals and 17 points in 14 games. The only freshman on the all-conference squad, Rosencrans was tied for 17th in the conference in goals.

Rosencrans was one of the leading scorers for Greenwich Academy, which captured the NEPSAC Class A title in 2012. She scored a goal in the Gators’ 2-1 win over rival Hotchkiss School in the 2012 final.

Katey Hopper, a Greenwich High School graduate, concluded her junior season on the Hamilton field hockey team, while Greenwich Academy graduate Hannah Bacon finished her senior season. GA graduate Hannah Keohane also completed her freshman campaign for Hamilton.
