Greenwich High School senior Jack Harrington was one of 30 athletes honored at the National Football Foundation Desantis-McDougall Fairfield County Chapter Scholar Athlete Banquet on Sunday in Stratford.

The top football players/scholar athletes in Fairfield County were honored at the banquet. A two-sport captain in football and lacrosse, Harrington was a National Merit Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society. Harrington garnered All-FCIAC West honors as a member of the Cardinals football team. His strong play on the defensive line helped anchor the Cardinals’ defense. Harrington was also an All-State selection in lacrosse.

Harrington, who is in the midst of a strong lacrosse season for the Cardinals, will continue his lacrosse career at Duke University in the fall.
