    Hello Sam,

I had stopped in also, I spoke with the owner Drew and he told me they were working on the air-conditioning as one of the older units had failed. I also spoke with Elayne and she said that she was getting things tuned up with reguards to the staff and all. Thanks for commenting on the blog!!! tt

We stopped by a couple of days ago. It’s charming, but it won’t survive unless the owners do a couple of key thing. 1. Better air conditioning. It was probably 90 degrees inside and the poor kids working behind the counter looked miserable. 2. Get rid of the ants all over the patio. We went outside to escape the heat inside, and could not sit at a table…the ants were literally crawling up our drink cups. 3. Train the staff how to make the coffees. This may take some time and if they are that hot it’s probably going to be hard for them to concentrate, but it does need to be done!

I swung by there this morning. Had a double espresso… $4.50, that’s a little steep. I didn’t know the brand of coffee they use, generic. They need a recognizable fair trade brand with an organic option, as well as organic sugar. It was 8 am and I was the only one there. I’ll say they really kept the charm of the old candy store alive, the place has great potential, but this is Weston, and people here have come to expect the natural options, even the work crews!
