UPDATE, 9:02 a.m.: The accident in Greenwich has cleared.

UPDATE, 8:33 a.m.: Three-vehicle accident in Greewnich on I-95 South between exits 4 and 3. The left lane is closed.

UPDATE, 8:15 a.m.: Spoke too soon about the delays on the Merritt.

Traffic is starting to become heavy southbound from exits 48 to 44 in Fairfield as you make your way into Westport.

Congestion begins again in the Stamford area southbound from exits 41 to 35.

UPDATE, 8:03 a.m.: It’s been a quiet morning on the roads, but congestion is still building from Bridgeport into Fairfield on I-95 South, so prepare for a bit of a delay there from about exit 26 to exit 21.

I-95 South is also backed up in the Darien area from exits 15 to 11.

The Merritt Parkway looks pretty clear in both directions from Fairfield to the state line.

UPDATE, 7:05 a.m.: Minor delays are starting to build as you move from Bridgeport into Fairfield on I-95 South. The congestion is from exits 26 to 21.

UPDATE, 6:55 a.m.: Smooth ride along the shoreline so far this morning on both Interstate 95 and the Merritt Parkway southbound. The Route 8/25 Connector in Bridgeport is also clear, along with Route 8, 25 and 7.

6:43 a.m.: The roads are clear in Greater Danbury, and have been for much of the morning. State Department of Transportation officials have not reported any accidents or traffic delays in the area.
