UPDATE, 10:15 a.m.: Metro-North says service is now running on or close to on schedule.
It isn’t expected to resemble the nightmarish situation that Metro-North and Amtrak dealt with yesterday, but Metro-North says commuters should expect delays today during the morning commute.
The railroad sent out the following alert this morning:
Due to a reduced commercial power feed by Con Edison in the Park Avenue Tunnel, customers traveling in both directions from 6:30am-7:30am can anticipate potential delays of 5-10 minutes, and those traveling from 7:30am-9:00am can expect possible delays of 10-20 minutes. Updates will be provided as the morning progresses. Please listen for announcements at your station.
