Westbound traffic is backed up for miles on Interstate 84 in Danbury after two vehicles were involved in a crash between exits 8 and 7. As a result, the left lane has been closed.
The accident happened about 8:37 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation website. There is no timetable for when the lane will be reopened.
It’s unclear whether anyone was injured.
