Roads getting more congested by the minute as peak rush hour builds.

Interstate 95

SB speeds now crawling about 16 MPG between Exit 27 in Bridgeport to Exit 22 in Fairfield.

Southbound is congested between Exits 29 and 11 about 18.8 miles.

It starts to slow again near the Sherwood Island Connector at Exit and continues past the Route 7 interchange in Norwalk.

After that it’s an easy drive into Stamford.

No problems to report in New Haven area.

Merritt Parkway

Heaviest traffic near Route 25 interchange down to Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield. That’s about five miles of congestion.

Speeds averaging 30 MPH.
