I-95 southbound in Greenwich is congested between Exits 9 and 5, a distance of nearly 4 miles, as the morning rush moves south.

Northbound there is heavy volume on I-95 in New Haven between exits 43 and 46, a span of about 2 miles.

The Merritt Parkway is flowing smoothly with just a little congestion, a sniffle, really, near the Wilton Road and Weston Road exits.

Route 8 is clear through the Valley and right into Bridgeport.

Metro North Railroad is reporting a 20 minute delay for New Haven Line passengers in the Bridgeport area, because of a disabled train.

Service on the Chester-Hadlyme ferry and the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury ferry across the Connecticut River has been suspended because of high water levels, the DOT reports.

At least the bridges over the river in Old Saybrook, East Hadaam, Portland and East Hartford are still open– for now anyway.

Not a bad commute. Good luck getting home.
