More congestion has arrived on southwestern Connecticut highways in the last half-hour.
Yet still, roads are in fairly decent shape.
From Exit 29 in Bridgeport down to Fairfield Exit 22, there’s some jamming going on that has knocked speeds down to the mid-40s. About a 5-mile slowdown.
Speeds get knocked down again in Norwalk and Stamford, but it’s not a bad ride.
Getting heavier by the minute near the Route 8 and 25 merge, but still a good roll Down County.
Good around Danbury, eastbound through Newtown, then it’s a mess in Waterbury past the Mixmaster.
Routes 7, 8 and 25
In nice shape with no accidents. Keep it going.
Still on the right track; on or cl0se to schedule.
