A northbound accident on I-95 in Fairfield between Exits 21 and 22 delayed traffic for about an hour Tuesday.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash shortly after 11:30 a.m. One perspn was injured, but not considered life threatening.
The vehicles were in the NB breakdown lane that caused several miles of delays in both directions.
The Fairfield fire department and State Police responded to the crash along with EMTs.
At about 12:15 p.m., the last of the damaged vehicles was removed by a flatbed truck from the scene.
Traffic flow soon returned to normal.
