Interstate 95

Not an easy day.

There is an accident with injuries between southbound Exits 19 and 18 in Fairfield and Westport. Expect the delays to worsen. Reported at 8:35 a.m. Live cam Exit 18 and live cam Exit 19.

Southbound delays start in Bridgeport and drag on all the way down to Norwalk. A northbound accident near Exit 26 in Bridgeport has snarled up traffic in that direction as well.

Speeds pick up in the low 30s mph in Darien.

Merritt Parkway

Southbound is congested between Exits 49 in Trumbull to and Exut  36 in New Canaan. That’s about  19.3 miles to slow moving traffic. Biggest bottleneck is in Trumbull between the Routes 8 and 25 intersections.

Metro-North

Still reporting delays up to 10 minutes through Milford because of signal problems.
