If you are headed east, you should know that a tractor-trailer accident between exits 62-63 southbound in Clinton has tied things up pretty good out there. The truck has reportedly gone through the guardrails and the right lane is closed while the damage is cleared.

Closer to home, if you take the bus to work be aware that the Gathering of the Vibes has led the Greater Bridgeport Transit District to reroute some of its buses to avoid Seaside Park.

Routes 1 and 9 are affected; both serve the University of Bridgeport campus. Some stops will be skipped or moved, the GBTD warns. The regular schedule resumes on Monday.

So far area roads are flowing smoothly, but they are still wet from the overnight rain. Traffic is starting to build at the usual choke points, including the Route 8/25 connector beginning at Exit 2, Fairfield Avenue, and the Merritt at Route 111.

Metro North Railroad will operate its normal service on the Hudson Line today, a week after a freight train derailment in the Bronx damaged some tracks and equipment. Substitute buses will not be used on that route today, MNR says.

New Haven Line trains are  running at or close to schedule.
