Traffic is flowing smoothly throughout the region this morning, but there are a few things to be aware of.

The Exit 22 ramp for North Benson Road on the southbound side of I-95 in Fairfield is closed this morning due to roadwork. A good way to access the Fairfield University campus from I-95 this morning is to get off at the Kings Highway exit, 23, and take the Post Road.

The new Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven may still be confusing, with its relocated ramps. The northbound lanes opened on Sunday.

There is roadwork on the northbound side of the Merritt Parkway in Stamford, between exits 27-34, says Lorin Richardson, traffic reporter for News 12.

There is also roadwork on the northbound side of I-95 in Milford and Stratford, associated with the new Moses Wheeler Bridge project.

I-95 is building up traffic volume on the southbound side in Bridgeport and Fairfield. The state DOT says that for a three mile stretch between exits 26 and 22 your average speed with be 33 miles per hour.

There is also a slight delay at the bottom of Route 8/25 in Bridgeport where it joins I-95. From Exit 2, Fairfield Avenue, expect to be touching your brakes a lot.

Metro North Railroad reports that all trains are running on or close to schedule.
