Southwestern Connecticut traffic updates from the staff at Hearst Connecticut Media Group

More traffic, but still a good ride

|

Still a good ride out there for southwestern Connecticut road warriors.

Interstate 95

Still a good ride past the Darien service plaza on I-95.

Still a good ride past the Darien service plaza on I-95.

Heaviest traffic is southbound between Exit 27 in Bridgeport and Exit 22 in Fairfield, live cam. Speeds in the 40 mph range. Backup is less than 3 miles. Not bad for this time of day!

Starts to slow again near Exit 17 in Saugatuck and continues to about Exit 13 in Darien, live cam.

Ride down to Stamford and Greenwich is looking good.

East to New Haven, no problems including at “The Q.”

Merritt/Wilbur Cross

The pick of the day. A very nice ride on the parkways this morning. Enjoy it while you can.

Route 7

Congestion building south in Danbury before 84 merge.

Starting to see more SB company on the connector in Norwalk.

Route 25

Good amount of traffic coming off 84 in Newtown.

Metro-North

On or close to schedule.
