Southwestern Connecticut traffic updates from the staff at Hearst Connecticut Media Group

Off to a good ride on SW CT roads

|

The past few Fridays have been good commuting days on southwestern Connecticut roads.

Many people often take Fridays off to start a long weekend or get an early jump on vacation.

We’ll see if that holds true today.

So far, we got a good start to the AM commute with no accidents or major back-ups.

Interstate 95

The heaviest traffic on southbound I-94 is near Exit 24 in Fairfield.

The heaviest traffic on southbound I-94 is near Exit 24 in Fairfield.

There’s some traffic building on the Bridgeport/Fairfield line, but speeds are still in the low 50s. Live cam Exit 24 in Fairfield.

There’s a slight slowdown in the SB lanes near Atlantic Street in Stamford.

Merritt Parkway

Great time to be on the parkway. No problems at all!

It’s the same deal on the Wilbur Cross

Interstate 84

Good ride both directions between the Hat and Brass cities.

Metro-North

On or close to schedule, or so they say.
