Cruising to the home stretch

Although we still have some congestion on southwestern Connecticut roads, things are much improved.

Interstate 95

That earlier disabled car near southbound Exit 17 has been hauled away. It caused a backup that stretched into Fairfield for about 30 minutes.

Slowest traffic is from Bridgeport to Exit 19 in Fairfield, from Exit 17 in Westport down to Exit 14 in Norwalk.

Merritt Parkway

Still trying to loosen SB congestion from the Route 25 intersection down to around Route 7 in Norwalk.

Interstate 84

Westbound traffic slows in Southbury before the Housatonic River crossing.

Metro-North

Reporting 10 minute delays into GCT.
