Metro North trains into Grand Central are delayed

Just another Manic Monday.

Even as U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal prepares to lead a Congressional field hearing at Bridgeport City Hall this morning to address the service disruption that happened after a ConEd substation failed, Metro North Railroad is reporting new delays.

An earlier disabled train is causing delays of up to 15 minutes on inbound New Haven Line trains into Grand Central Terminal, the railroad announced earlier this morning.

The same thing happened last week; riders aren’t happy.

The railroad is paying refunds to riders with weekly and monthly passes who were inconvenienced by the earlier, week-long disruption.

Here’s what they’re saying on the trains this morning.
