Slippery rails slow trains


Metro North Railroad reports that trains on its New Haven line, as well as Harlem and Hudson service, are experiencing delays of 15-20 minutes due to wet rails and leaves.

The Danbury and New Canaan branch lines are not delayed, according to the railroad’s web site. You can get up to the minute information here. 

Metro North officials had announced that a major track upgrade in the Bronx, which had slowed some trains during work periods, was completed over the weekend.
