Pedestrian struck and killed on I-95

The State Department of Transportation reported a pedestrian was struck Saturday morning around 3:30 a.m.

The highway was shut down between exits six and seven while the accident was cleared an the investigation was carried out. Reports from those in traffic indicate Southbound lanes are still not moving.

According to Doingitlocal.com, State Police found a car had hit a person on the highway.
