On Friday, Metro-North Railroad will run on a Saturday schedule (greatly reduced service) due to the anticipated impact of winter storm Hercules. For a look at the schedule, click here.
The heart of the storm is set to move into Connecticut around 8 p.m. tonight and Metro-North says it will be reducing train service around that time.
The railroad says it will be running hourly train service into the night and after midnight, they will operate a schedule with train combinations and cancellations to prevent trains from becoming stranded during the storm.
Both the railroad and Connecticut’s governor are warning that delays are possible tonight and tomorrow.
