A bit of sluggishness for your Tuesday night ride home

|

It’s slow going out there, both on the roads and the rails.

We’re seeing some pretty significant slowdowns on Interstate 95 especially between Stamford and Norwalk and also between Fairfield and Bridgeport. Speeds in both areas are down into the 20 mph range going northbound.

The Merritt Parkway looks a little better, though you might have to tap the brakes at spots between Norwalk and Trumbull.

Routes 7, 8 and 25 are moving pretty steadily, as is the Milford Parkway.

Metro-North says that New Haven Line riders might be seeing 5 to 10 minute delays traveling into and out of Grand Central because of signal issues in the Park Avenue Tunnel.
