New Haven Line Service continues to experience scattered delays of up to 20 minutes due to a disabled train vicinity of Milford.

8:01 Milford to GCT delayed indefinitely, then the 8:12 skipped us. Unacceptable.

Metro-North: “New Haven Line Customers traveling through the vicinity of Milford may experience  delays of 10 to 15 minutes due to a disabled  train in the area.”

UPDATE 8:01 AM

Scattered delays continue on the New Haven Line. Other gripes: crowded, cold trains and no word from MNRR on train delays.

Our @MetroNorth train from Stratford delayed due to mechanical difficulties.

And yes, those ongoing signal problems on the Danbury Branch are causing even longer delays…

#metronorth - 6:29 redding train is 25-30 minutes late – not unusual. today’s excuse is new engineer is not familiar with branch – SAFE!!

Some delays are getting longer on the railroad, but MNRR is still reporting “good service.”

The worst delay is the 7:21 AM from Stamford to Grand Central that is more than 20 minutes late.

More than 100 people packed a meeting in Fairfield Tuesday night complaining to state DOT and Metro-North officials about poor service.

UPDATE: 6:14 AM

Metro-North is reporting “good service” on the New Haven Line this morning.

There are naturally, some delays. The eastbound 6:26 AM from Stamford to SoNo is running 8 minutes late.

The 6:06 AM from Stamford to Grand Central is also running 8 minutes behind schedule.
