I-05 south is slow from the Westport-Norwalk line into Stamford. According to data from the state DOT traffic cams, you’ll average between 34-41 miles per hour through that stretch, so plan accordingly.

There is a three-car crash on the Merritt Parkway southbound near Exit 42 in Fairfield. State Police are on the scene and report there is one person with minor injuries.
Traffic is slow near the accident site but otherwise flowing smoothly on the Merritt.
I-95 south is slow from the Route 8/25 ramp in Bridgeport to Mill Plain Road in Fairfield and again near the Route 7 interchange in Norwalk.

First signs of a slowdown now, on I-95 south in Bridgeport and again in Norwalk. You’ll dip below the posted speed limit passing through both cities, but that’s about the extent of it.
The Merritt remains in good shape, and the trains are on time.

There is a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder of the Route 8/25 connector in Bridgeport, just before Exit 1, Myrtle Avenue. It is having a minimal impact on traffic, which usually bogs down in this spot a bit later on weekday mornings.
The Merritt Parkway is flowing smoothly in both directions and no delays are being reported on Metro North Railroad.
