The accident has cleared and the car removed from the backyard.
One person is being treated for minor injuries at Griffin Hospital.
Extrication was not necessary, public safety officials said.

A car has rolled over on Route 8 in Derby, landing on its roof in the backyard of 54 Mohawk Street, alongside the highway.
Derby EMS reports that all occupants are out of the car and that one person is being transported to Griffin Hospital.

Still a relatively light traffic morning.
There is volume, but no delays, on both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway southbound through Fairfield County.
No accidents reported.
Metro North reports no delays on its trains.

The heaviest traffic now is on I-95 south in Norwalk and Darien, where you will average 28-33 miles per hour, according to the state DOT traffic cams.
The Merritt is slow in spots heading south, from Fairfield into North Stamford, but traffic is moving.

There is moderately heavy traffic on I-95 south through Bridgeport and Fairfield and again in Norwalk.
You will be able to drive close to the speed limit.
There is heavy volume building on the Merritt Parkway south at Exit 48 in Trumbull.

Route 111 in Monroe, between Route 110 and Cross Hill Road will be closed until Aug. 20 for a DOT construction project.
There will be access to businesses during this time, said Lt. Brian McCauley of the Monroe police, but motorists should follow the posted detours and avoid the construction area.

Traffic is building on I-95 south through Bridgeport, though you’ll be able to drive at or just below the posted speed limit.
The Merritt Parkway and Route 7, 8 and 25 are clear.
No delays are being reported on Metro North trains.

Road work projects in the area are picking up now and should be out of the way in a few minutes.
The only one that seems to be having an effect is on the northbound side of I-95 near the Route 7 ramps in Norwalk.
