The busiest section of I-95 south right now is from Exit 15 in Norwalk to Exit 11 in Darien.

The Merritt is flowing smoothly southbound, although you’ll have some company through New Canaan and North Stamford.

Still a fairly nice ride. There’s some minor congestion on I-95 south in Fairfield and Norwalk, and on the Merritt southbound in Trumbull and Fairfield.

There’s still that pocket of moderate traffic volume on I-95 south, stretching from Exit 27 in Bridgeport to Exit 21 in Fairfield.

There is also a slight bunching of traffic now on the Merritt Parkway south near Exit 48 in Trumbull.

The first high volume delay is taking shape now on I-95 south from downtown Bridgeport into Fairfield. You’ll be able to pass through the 5-mile zone at or close to the posted speed limit, but you’ll have some company.

We’re off to a smooth start to the AM commute.

There are no accidents or major construction work to slow you down.

Even Metro-North is reporting trains are on or close to schedule.

Enjoy it while you can because traffic volume will be picking up next week as many school districts start a new academic year.
