The Connecticut Department of Transportation reports Route 15 is closed on the northbound side between exits 40B and 41 in Norwalk because of a vehicle fire. The DOT estimates it could take up to an hour to reopen the parkway. UPDATE: At 9:18 p.m., the DOT says the Merritt has been reopened.
